Our vision is provide Spirit-filled worship that connects with people where they are that reflects our rich diversity in the Hilltop neighborhood, maintaining Peace’s unique gift of Gospel music ministry. Music is central to worship at Peace. We use a variety of music styles, including Gospel music emphasis, hymns of faith, contemporary Christian, and global music. Many people offer their musical gifts and talents during weekly worship, Sunday School, and for church events throughout the year.
Adult Gospel Choir, Thursdays at 7 pm
The Gospel Choir lifts up the name of Jesus and sings praises to his name. The Gospel Choir sings the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the 11 am service and participates in various choir concerts and festivals. Summer rehearsal schedule: June 21, July 19, August 9, August 23.
Prepare communion elements, coordinate altar cloths to reflect the changing of the church seasons, and decorate the sanctuary.
Angel Choir, 1st and 3rd Sundays, 10:30-10:50 am
This choir is for children ages 4 to 8th grade. Children of all skill levels are welcome to participate.
Assisting in Worship
Help facilitate the service by leading prayers, reading scripture, and welcoming worshipers. We need ushers, readers, assisting ministers, acolytes, musicians, and prayer ministers.
Individuals share their gifts in worship as instrumentalists or soloists.
The committee responsible for planning and executing worship. Worship assistants, musicians, readers, ushers, and greeters are always needed.
