Children’s ministry at Peace Lutheran Church helps children understand God’s unconditional love for them in Jesus, shares God’s love and encourages children to grow spiritually, cultivates caring relationships with adults who pass on the faith, and gives children opportunities to serve their community. Our desire is that every young person feels welcome, safe, and loved.

Our Children’s programs are best suited for Elementary aged children. We have Sunday School Classes that break out into smaller groups by age. We offer nursery care for children ages 4 and under during 11 AM worship. Children are welcome at Peace! We are a small church that invites children to experience worship with the adults, while also offering age appropriate programming. Parents and guardians are welcome to join their children in the nursery or children’s worship time.

Peace has made a commitment to anti-racism and justice. You can read more about this on our anti-racism page. Children’s ministry is working through an equity lens when choosing curriculum for our children. We have been using MiniRevolutions from Illustrated Ministry. We aim to represent our diverse community through the imagery, language, and spaces we create in our classes.
