Associated Ministries
Associated Ministries is an interfaith organization partnering with churches and interfaith communities to unite people of faith to build a stronger community that is humane, compassionate, and just. Peace is a member congregation of the ELCA. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has three expressions – nearly 10,000 congregations, 65 synods, and the churchwide organization.
Faith Action Network
Peace is an Advocating Congregation. We are part of a network of other congregations organized by the advocacy organization Faith Action Network to lift our voices on behalf of the vulnerable in our society and world to political decision makers and people in positions of power.
Family Housing Network
The purpose of the Family Housing Network is to help families experiencing homelessness achieve and maintain permanent housing in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Peace Lutheran Church has participated in past years, opening our church for two weeks out of the year to provide housing and meals for up to five families.

Hilltop Urban Gardens (HUG) is a community-based urban agriculture, justice, and equity organization based in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma. HUG partners with the community to grow healthy food and to create a healthy community.

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service
LIRS works with migrants and refugees, U.S. Lutherans, and many partners in service and justice to accomplish its mission. Refugees are resettled through a network of 28 local organizations in 26 states (including Washington), most of which are Lutheran social ministry organizations.
Southwestern Washington Synod, ELCA
This synod is comprised of 87 congregations (including Peace Lutheran) in an area spanning from Federal Way to the Washington-Oregon border and from the Cascades to the Pacific Ocean.
Tacoma Ministerial Alliance
A network of Christian leaders in Tacoma from predominantly African American churches and community partners working together to offer biblical, civic, and professional involvement for addressing social issues of interest in our local community.
